Now that you are a family, special care is in order. A highly trained and specialized registered nurse cares for the mother and baby throughout the postpartum stay and we encourage family participation. And, if special medical needs arise, you can be assured our nursery is equipped for critical care and stabilization.

Free Newborn Evaluation

If you are a breastfeeding mother, we will schedule an appointment with the Parent Education Office for this free evaluation during your first week home. This visit allows you to have your baby weighed and a breastfeeding evaluation to help insure you and your baby are doing well. Mothers appreciate this meeting as a n opportunity to move forward in thier skills. This visit is in conjunction with pediatric care. All mothers from the community are welcome to attend.
