Florida Hospital DeLand purchased 2.5 acres for $1.1 million from The St. Joe Company to open the Victoria Medical Park, an outpatient center. 

Set to open in the fourth quarter of 2010, the future 25,000 square foot medical park, located across from Victoria Park’s Retail Village Center, will house a variety of outpatient services.

“This purchase was made as an investment to better serve the needs of our patients, as we continue to deliver health care close to home,” said Daryl Tol, Chief Executive Officer/President at Florida Hospital DeLand.

The new location’s tentative plans include outpatient imaging, women's diagnostics, rehabilitation and sports medicine, a laboratory, and physician offices.

“We are excited that Florida Hospital DeLand has selected Victoria Park as the location for its newest facility,” says Nick Cassala, President, Residential Development with The St. Joe Company. “We believe the new medical park will be a great complement to the existing businesses, serve to further energize the Village Center, and provide outstanding service to the Victoria Park community and its residents.”
