Florida Hospital DeLand Begins Construction on Florida Hospital DeLand Victoria Medical Park

Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2010, Florida Hosptial DeLand began construction on its newest project, Victoria Medical Park.
Freese Construction Company will be the General Contractor on the project.
When Florida Hospital DeLand started this project, they called on Chicago-based Lillibridge, one of the nation's largest private health care real estate firms, who has partnered with other Florida Hospitals on previous projects.
The future 25,000-square-foot medical park, located across from Victoria Park’s Retail Village Center, will house a variety of outpatient services, such as outpatient imaging, women's diagnostics, rehabilitation and sports medicine, a laboratory, and physician offices.
The total cost of the construction project is estimated at approximately $14 million, which includes the purchase of the land and construction of the building.
“With this new medical park, we will be able to provide more services to better serve the needs of our patients, as we continue to deliver health care close to home,” said Daryl Tol, Chief Executive Officer/President at Florida Hospital DeLand.
