Florida Hospital Opens its Heart this Valentine’s Day, Donates Supplies to Tornado Victims

WHAT: Florida Hospital employees opened their hearts this Valentine’s Day and collected mounds of supplies to give to those in need in Volusia County. And now a truckload of supplies from Florida Hospital is making its way to Deland, Fla. today to help the victims of the Feb. 2 tornadoes. Employees collected everything from non-perishable food and diapers to toiletries and cleaning supplies, which are now heading to a food distribution site in the parking lot of the Woodlands Plaza in Volusia County. Employees began loading the truck at 8 a.m. this morning, and it is expected to arrive in Deland this afternoon.
WHERE: The supplies will be dropped off at the Woodlands Plaza in Volusia County.
