There is no greater gift than to help a family in need for the holidays. The Adopt-a-Family Program was created to assist families with their Christmas celebration. Without the benefit of an adoption, these families otherwise wouldn't be able to celebrate due to their hardships.

This year, Florida Hospital DeLand helped 20 families, with a total of 70 children, from the House Next Door and their own hospital family have a brighter and merrier Christmas.

Before sending the gifts to the families, employees and volunteers gathered in the Florida Hospital DeLand lobby to bless the gifts before sending them off.

With the help of generous employees and volunteers, Christmas blessings will be shared with families throughout DeLand to make Christmas 2010 a celebration they will never forget.
