Florida Hospital DeLand Promotes Patient Access Employees
DELAND – Florida Hospital DeLand has promoted Melanie Baran to Patient Access Manager. In her new role, Baran is responsible for the daily operations of Florida Hospital DeLand’s Patient Access Department, ensuring that patients are registered correctly, insurance information is obtained, and excellent customer service is maintained.

With Baran’s move to Patient Access, Florida Hospital DeLand has promoted Heather Goodwin to Pre-Access Supervisor. In addition to overseeing the daily operations of the Pre-Access department and its staff, Goodwin is also now responsible for spearheading Florida Hospital DeLand’s Physician Pre-certification initiative in 2011.
