Thursday, May 2 - Friends and Family CPR Class
The Friends and Family CPR class is geared to the general public and will will be held at 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon in Classroom 3A at Florida Hospital DeLand. Cost is $5.00 and seating is limited. Wednesday, June 18 - Free Digestive and Colorectal Health Lunch N' Learn
Florida Hospital DeLand has partnered with the American Cancer Society to bring you an informative lecture designed to help you stay your best. Join Gastroenterologist Dr. Martin Prado at this lecture as he addresses the facts and myths about digestive health issues such as acid reflux and colorectal cancer. Registration will be held the day of the event from 11:30 a.m.-12:00p.m. The lecture will take place from 12:00pm-1:00pm in classrooms B and C. Seating is limited, so call  (386)943-4748 before Friday, June 15 to reserve your seat.

October
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Florida Hospital DeLand is supporting the fight against breast cancer. The 11th Annual Breast Cancer Seminar, Fashion Show and Dinner, will be held Thursday, October 16 at 6:00 p.m. – at the Stetson Baptist Church – Life Center in DeLand.  Cancer Survivors will strut their stuff on the catwalk to increase awareness and educate the audience about the importance of early detection of breast cancer through mammography.
