DeLand, Florida, February 1, 2008 – On Sunday, January 20, The West Volusia Moose Lodge Loyal Order of the Moose (LOOM) 2538, Women of the Moose (WOTM) 2202 and citizens of Volusia County donated $7,100 to benefit the Florida Hospital DeLand Cancer Institute and the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute Fish Memorial. Both the men’s and women’s clubs of the Lodge raised money throughout the year by holding various fundraisers including a poker run, auction, raffle, dunk tank, bake sale and memorial balloon release.
