The Auxiliary
Since the Florida Hospital DeLand Auxiliary, Inc. was founded in 1961, these charity-minded men and women have raised millions of dollars and donated countless service hours to the hospital. Auxiliary members represent the diverse population of the community including teachers, business executives and retirees.
The Auxiliary’s Purpose
Auxilians share a common goal of providing aid and comfort to patients and their families. The Auxiliary’s purpose is:
To provide compassionate service to patients and hospital staff
To serve as “goodwill ambassadors” for the hospital
To raise funds for the hospital
