Meetings and Awards

Membership meetings are held quarterly in January, April, July and October. A variety of hospital and auxiliary-related topics are discussed at these meetings to keep members informed about changes at the hospital or within the auxiliary.

Special awards and recognition pins are presented for volunteer service hours and door prizes are awarded at these meetings.  Pins are awarded for each 100 hours of service up to 1,000 hours. Thereafter they are awaded at 500 hour intervals up to 10,000 hours.  At that point pins are awarded in 1,000 hour increments.

An election of auxiliary officers takes place in October at the Quarterly Membership Meeting.  In December, a luncheon is held for the Annual Installation of Officers.
