Teenage Volunteer Program Information

The Teenage Volunteer (TAV) program offers educational opportunities to match your budding interests.  Our aim is to make the TAV program an informative experience while you observe, learn, and assist with routine hospital activities.

The TAV program is primarily a summer program and is limited to twenty-five teens.  Currently, there is a waiting list to participate in the program.  Call Volunteer Services office at (386) 943-4820 to inquire about being placed on the list. Leave a message if no one is available to answer your call. Please speak clearly leaving your full name and a return phone number. You will be contacted about the program when there is an opening, at which time we will discuss the process for receiving an application and scheduling an interview.

The Teenage Volunteer program applications are not the same as the general volunteer application on the hospital’s web site. The reason for this is that most students are minors and must have parental consent to volunteer.  Please do not submit an adult application form  the Teenage Volunteer Program  from this website.

Participation during the school year may be possible pending discussion with the student and a parent or guardian.

** Must be at least 14 years old to participate in this program.
